I am just curious because on my i7 when I went from 158mhz to 166mhz I used about 200mb more of RAM. Just a coincidence? I am not that intellectually gifted when it comes to OC'ing. Was just curious. And if this is the case, would upgrading from 4 to 8GB of RAM help? I do some video rendering and was thinking about it anyway for that.

200MB isn't that big of a difference, and could be attributed to a number of factors other than overclock. The overclock itself shouldn't have anything to do with how much ram is used. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you see a program in task manager that's hogging a bunch.

And yes, 8GB of ram would definitely help with video editing. That's one of the areas that having more ram is almost always helpful.

Yeah, that's what I was aiming at it for. This little thing is just an excuse to get it for my upcoming birthday then. :) Thanks.
