    Does anyone make a higher capacity battery for our babies?

    Well... many devices have aftermarket manufacturers that make higher capacity batteries that last longer. Just wondering if anyone makes one for the R1.

    I'm not aware of any higher capacity batteries for the M11x. It's hard enough to get a replacement, same capacity battery.

    Legitimate higher capacity batteries involve packing more cells into it, thus making the actual battery larger. This is obviously impossible considering the M11x has an internal battery. I'm sure that if more juice could have been packed into the current battery's dimensions Dell would already have done so as it is a huge selling point for anything portable.

    There is always room to increase battery life through software and newer components such as processors, displays, etc. But as far as the actual battery goes, there would have to be a change in chassis to accommodate it.

    All in all, there are no higher capacity batteries for the M11x. And if you do find one, it's a gimmick.
