    Hey All,

This hinge/build quality issue has hit it's limit for me. It's a common belief, and one that I share, that Dell is not going to take the appropriate steps to fix this problem.

Simply because it's cheaper for them to keep applying the fix under warranty until the user feels obligated to buy an extended warranty.

    Fine.

If that's the way you want to play it...

Then if Dell sees fit that it's cheaper to just keep repairing the part/unit while it's under warranty until the customer is either out of warranty or buys an extended one - And in doing so, either refuse me a full refund for returning a defective unit or giving me a complimentary accidental coverage extended warranty -

Then I'll play back by RMA'ing this mother as many times as it takes during my one year under coverage warranty that it ends up costing them the same in RMA expenses that it did for me to buy their product. In this case $1500.

And everytime, blame it on the same thing - the hinge.

I'm already on hold with tech support now. My replacement unit arrived defective. If they don't want to give me a refund or complimentary accidental coverage warranty, then they can keep paying RMA costs until it equals what I'm losing on this netbook or they fix the issue.

I suggest all M11x owners do the same.

Keep RMA'ing the unit until they've paid in costs what you've paid for it, or fixed the issue.

If they want to make it about $$. We can make it about $$

And they will Pay me or pay me no attention
