I'm trying to connect my x530 (logitech) 5.1 setup to my brand new M11x R2.

Can somebody in here please confirm what i'm doing is correct?

    1) Configure sound from control panel from stereo to 5.1.
    2) Connect the 3 analog audio jacks (from x530) to the 2x audio jacks + 1 mic jack.

I will test it out tonight when i get home and will update on the results.

PS: i bought the R2 last month not realising the R3 is about the be released....

Yeah thats all you have to do. Its super easy to set up. You may have to switch around the jacks untill you figure out what jack outputs what sounds. In the control panel you can hit the play button and it will send out a test tone to each speaker in the system, just watch the screen for what speaker is highlighted and listen to what speaker is playing.

YES!! i have my music playing as i type, the surround sound 5.1 is amazingly good, i laugh at myself for spending 2 whole days searching for an adaptor to accommodate the 3 analog jacks!
