Will the numbers on GPU-Z vary depending on GPU usage or should they be at the same numbers across the board b/c my numbers don't exactly match other numbers. Also will overclocking increase the numbers such as the pixel and texture fillrates or the bandwidth. This is getting me thinking I might have a bad gpu which might be related to low 3dmark06 scores.(scores of stock gpu with 166 mhz i5= ~6800-6900.

    Thanks If you can help.

Well, 3dMark06 is a very finicky program. If you are running a lot of processes the i5 in the Mx11 will suffer greatly, that could cause a lot of your problems. Depending on what numbers you are referring to in GPU-z yes they can jump around. For instance, on the first page your clocks should not jump around, however on the sensors they will move around depending on current usage.

Check and see how many processes you are running, turn off everything you don't need and try 3dMark again and see what you get.

This is not to say you don't have a bad GPU, but over clocking it a bit will help it run stuff like 3dMark quite a bit. Just know that 3dMark mark is in no way a stability test and just because you make it through it does not mean you won't crash right afterwards lol.

    So fillrates can change correct.

Yes they can change with over clocking. I run about 4.8 GPixel/s according to GPU-Z with my current stable clocks. If I were to go back to stock clocks It hovers about 3.3 GPixel/s.

So your numbers look pretty normal for those clocks.

In fact, my GPU-Z with stock clocks is identical to yours:

    With my current clocking:

I hope this helps you, if you need anything else, please ask.

So I've barely overclocked the card to 500/1200/810 and it gives me the BSOD on the games I play from nvlddmkm.sys. error. Are there currently any solutions to fix this problem? Or should I just avoid overclocking this card because I got unlucky and got a card that just doesn't like overclocking(I've tried clean install, cleaned registry daily, switched the ram positions, and have HwinFO32 running the fan at 6900 rpm to keep temps down).

It is very possible you have a card that just does not like overclocking. However I will let you know that I had problems with the 275.27 drivers as well as the 270.61 beta ones that left me with the blue screen over and over again.

After numerous clean installs I am back to the 270.51 drivers that have done so well for me and I do seem to have the problem under control now.

Don't quote me on it but that Nvlddmkm.sys problem seems to be numerous issues on top of coming up if overclocking is too much for the cards stability, just a bit of my own experience.
