Today I finally installed Starcraft 2 (the only TRULY demanding game I've installed) and for some reason it can only play on medium. I've seen people play on ultra but for some reason I can't. I've heard some people fix this by turning off stealth mode but I don't know how to do that.

    Can someone help PLZ??

Do you own the M11xR1 or M11xR2?
    (M11xR1-Core 2 Duo , M11xR2-Core i5/Core i7)
    If you own a...
    M11xR1-hit FN and F6.

M11xR2-Add SC2 to Nvidia Optimus. If that still doesn't work, try updating your drivers.

Well, here is what I suggest you do.

    Step 1
Download the 270.30 drivers from dell:
    http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&ServiceTag=&SystemID=ALW_M11XR2&os=W764&
    osl=EN

They are located under the video category, and you want to download the nvidia one.
Once you download and install those, restart your computer.

    Step 2
Go into your control panel, then hardware and sound, then click on the Nvidia Control Panel. (You can also just do a search for it.)
    Then just follow this video.
YouTube - Nvidia Optimus Feature on the Alienware M11x- R2

You can just skip the first minute and a half if you want.

It should autmatically add stracraft 2 to your optimus list. just make sure you make it choose to use the 335m graphics card.

    Noah is right

There is an entire thread on this issue. Please read.

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-m11x/503901-starcraft-ii-m11x.html

While I can personally play on Ultra, the FPS dips too low in big fights so I stay at Medium with High textures. All my specs with AVG frames are in the thread. Also many other configurations from other users.
