Yes, already, I have a virus on my m11x. I'm trying to restore but keep getting error messages. If I boot from the restore disc I get a blank setup screen and am forced to shutdown using the power button. I can't remove the virus because my avg was infected as well. If there any way to restore and get my pc back up and running or will I have to request a new hard drive?

When using the restore disc, be patient and wait maybe 20 min. Sometimes the setup dialog can take ages to come up.

Can you try running Malwarebyte's anti-malware?
