Has anyone been able to make use of the WWAN mPCIe slot other than Gobi WWAN?

    As topic states.
I do not need WWAN, and it feels like a waste of space.
I'm wondering what can be used in that slot beside WWAN (or at least, besides the Gobi WWAN)

I use WWAN Sierra-MC8775 on UK t-mobile network and managed to play games like TF2 with ping-time around 80-130ms

Interesting... So maybe that port's pinout limits to WWAN cards...

In theory, it will work with an Intel Turbo boost card (kinda useless).

I don't think Dell locks down the card slots, however, so there shouldn't be an issue...? Certain SSD mPCIe cards won't work, but that is due to controller design.
