Hard drive expansion in m11x r2

Is it possible to manually upgrade the hard drive of the alienware m11x r2? If it is possible can someone tell me a process on what to do? And whats a good place to buy a hard drive from?

Here is a great guide to taking apart your laptop and accessing the HDD. All you need to do is take off the bottom plate and remove a few screws holding the HDD in place.

M11x Teardown

Any SATA hard drive should fit as long as it is a 2.5", 9.5mm drive. I'm from Australia so I'm not too sure of the best place for you to buy yours from but I'm sure you could get it from somewhere like Newegg or Amazon.

Also, you may want to consider a SSD. They are alot more expensive based on storage size but the speed increase is super!

Don't get a new HDD now, the flooding in Thailand has increased prices by more than 50%. Wait a few weeks for the prices to settle down again.
