I've had my trusty m11x for over a year now and I often have it hook up to a desktop station with a monitor, mouse, mechanical keyboard. Over the holidays I traveled and have been gaming on it directly, and have been experiencing very bad cramps in my left hand after 30minutes or so of starcraft or some FPS.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I know the keys are closer together due to the size constraints of the machine. I'm just worried this may be bad in the long run

Do you disable the touchpad when gaming? It gives some extra room to spread the palm out.

I don't really experience that unless my wrist positioning isn't great.

Can you give details on your posture? How high or low is the M11x relative to your elbow? Do you tuck your elbow in or is it outstretched?

I use to have some last year , but after my work was over , i found that it was my chair that was too " low ", and that " broke " my hand.

I also use a Razer Nostromo , and i feel way better using it ( even if , at first , i thought it would hurt me even more , getting use to it i feel better and more confortable now )

Never had a problem with it, now that the semester is over I have been able to fully dedicate myself to my massive pile of games I have stored up! I have been playing hours on end for days directly on my m11x with no problem whatsoever.

Razer Nostromo! :D Definitely agree, a gamepad like the Razer Nostromo or the Logitech G13 is great for your left hand. They do take some getting used to, so don't judge them too soon. I keep my Nostromo in my laptop bag, it has a reasonable form factor.

Agree on the Nostromo N52TE, love it so much I already have a spare in case my main broke down lol.

I pretty much use it on MMO's, FPS games and RTS (love the spam macro you can do with it so you don't end up repeatedly pressing 1 button)
