So i'm trying to get this whole HDMI scaling issue sorted out on my m11x R2. Reason being is that the number keys on my keyboard have stopped working, so I've had to resorted to using a usb one (turned my laptop into a sort of small desktop). Now the problem im having is that the HDMI seems adamant that it is going to be run in 1920x1080 and will only ever give me scaling options for that resolution. Most of the games I play these days will run in this resolution but eventually cause my GPU to get too hot. The games work fine in 1366x768 though.

Does anyone know how to enable scaling while in a lower resolution on HDMI on this thing? the intel control panel only ever gives me the scaling options if im in 1920x1080.

    Thanks for the assistance!

Rght click anywhere on the desktop and select "Graphics Properties", then select "Basic Mode" and under Display Options find the "Scaling", is that what you are looking for?
