So I finally hooked up my Samsung display (F2380) to the m11x via hdmi to dvi-- and it's works fine at 1440x900 but not at native 1900x1080 (just get no image or distorted image.) As an aside, it's surprisingly nice at 1440x900.

My first thought was my cable just didn't have the capability for 1080p but then I heard that some displays just won't do 1080p if they're not hdcp ready. What do you all think? I've had nothing but trouble with HDMI so I'm not at all surprised here.

Perhaps I'll just order a nice displayport to dvi cable from monoprice and be done with it.
