Hello their everyone I received my Alienware m11x today and began testing everything on it to find out it all works great.. except the HDMI. I am using a 37" vizio led tv and when the HDMI is plugged into both the tv and laptop it does absolutely nothing. I thought this may be a problem with the HDMI cord so i tried another with no success once again. please help me =(

Follow Tonxics advice and also check the video output setting in Control Panel, Intel's driver setting and/or Nvidia panel. I forget which I had to tweak to get my monitor to work when I plugged it into my M11x's HDMI port using a HDMI->DVI adapter. It didn't work right away though.

Is your laptop the R1 (Core2Duo) or R2 (i5/7)? If it is the R1, you must be using the nvidia graphics card to output over HDMI. If R2, try what the above posters said.
