I used an HDMI to DVI converter to connect to my TV (HDMI on the M11x --->HDMI/DVI converter----DVI to the TV), and I'm not getting any sound from the TV. Is DVI a video only type deal, and no sound comes through?

I also tried VGA with the same result...No sound.
Any ideas on what I should do?

Only HDMI will carry sound, DVI and VGA are, as you said, video only.

Thanks. It sucks to have an HDTV that doesn't have HDMI inputs.

You may be able to find an HDMI to Component out, which should still carry sound--but wait for another opinion, as I'm not positive on that one.
