Just thought I'd share. I had a 3hr flight yesterday and was bored so put down the tray table, took out my m11x, connected my G5 mouse, plugged in headphones, and played some Half-Life 2 before landing. There was just enough room on the tray table for the mouse, though I had to bump the sensitivity up. I love my laptop a lil more now

do airplane let u connect laptop to their power supply? if they have one...
lucky u...my flights r like 16 hours + -
used to love gaming in long flights ..recently iv started freaking out cuz of air turbulance almost ended up in a plane crash few months ago. still it helps somtimes to play some torchlight to distract my mind on the plane

"madballs in babo" on the plane is fun a FPS but very simple and i was able to use the touchpad and had no issues what so ever and it does not tax the gpu n cpu as much so still plenty of life on the battery to watch some vids, type a paper and some gaming as well.

I would think a flight simulator would be best

When the E1705 was working I watched "Snakes on a plane"... on the plane.
Sure space was nearly a problem but I was on a mission. Can I? Dare I? -
Ive played quite a few games on airplanes. I normally fly first class on long flights so have access to 120v power. Short flights I normally just watch movies.. or bust out the Kindle
CoD4 single player
Half Life

Baseball Mogul
Madden 09 -
I am travelling on a 9 hour flight later today. I have Deadspace all queued up and waiting for me on that long flight, which I'm looking forward to. That, and a bunch of Ambien. It feels like being on an airplane is one of the few times where I actually get to sit and game undistracted for long periods of time.
