Hey guys I'm fairly new to my m11x its a R1, so far i've overclocked the processor and now I'm trying to figure out how to overclock the graphics card. How do you do so? :p Sorry if there's a thread regarding this just can't find it, if there is could you guys please direct me to it. And besides overclocking the CPU and GPU and gamebooster, what other ways are there too boost up the speed on the m11x? Thanks guys.

You overclock your GPU using a software utility, like MSI Afterburner. You can adjust the GPU core, shader, and memory clock speeds using that tool.

MSI Afterburner is a nice GPU overclocking program... But I've never really seen any performance increase in any game I've tried by overclocking my GPU :/ The M11X is just so bound by its CPU... Course this may be different for i3, i5 and i7 users, I have the U5400.

Its definitely bound by the R1's CPU. When you get the R2 or R3 that's when you'll start seeing more performance boosts from GPU overclocking. Its harder to find games that are more GPU dependent these days (that our GPU can't handle as well).

The U5400 is actually an R2, which makes me even more sad :(
But really what boggles my mind is still how well this processor performs, and that it's able to play MW2 on high settings... and able to handle CPU intensive games like StarCraft pretty well, I'm kinda impressed for the amount of money I DIDN'T have to spend on this model.

Oh that's right. But it doesn't have turbo or anything right? In a way I feel like the CPU would still be the bottleneck there.

Yep... No way to turbo boost, and I seem to be the only person with this model! I guess that's saying something about it... :) And it is indeed a bottleneck, but most things run fine, I'm just worried about MW3 and Battlefield 3, but if it can handle black ops' crap optimization, then I hope it'll be fine

I think that you can play BF3 fine. I posted an Alpha Gameplay thread on here earlier. It plays better than BC2 so if you can manage low settings then I think you should be fine once its released in oct.

Haha thanks. I'm just hoping it has even more optimization in the days to come. It'd be great to be able to even run it at medium on an R1.
