Even before my overclock I’ve been having sporadic BSOD’s. I thought that it may be the Laptop was slightly unstable at 164 on stock timings.

Anyways last night I had a string of BSOD’so I returned my RAM to stock timings (actually faster than the 7-7-7-20) I was running and knocked the PC back down to 133. Even without throttle stop running I had a BSOD while watching a film. Temps are fine. Never getting into the 80’s on GPU or CPU.

So I went into the BIOS and ran the DELL Diagnostics. I did not pick anything up on the initial run but on the more complex run (The one they say takes around 30mins) it did pick up a problem Although it woke me up in the middle of the night so I did not read it properly. I’ll run it again but it mentioned something about memory. Also most the BSOD’s referred to memory management.

Is this enough for a warranty claim? I only have about ¾ weeks left on my warranty so don’t want it to run out and be left with a duff M11X.

As long as you havent tweak your memory or replacing them (i.e. disassembling the machine), it definitely enough to claim.
