The issue being the presets of the FAN speeds. On my old asus there was this little software that you could set fan speed manually, or make a preset etc. but on the m11x when i use the 540m card it only goes to 100% after it hits 90 degrees which seems a turd high.

I assume it switches with the CPU, since when i was running stress test on CPU it was quite eager to buzz like a bee at max...

Anyways, is there some small app that can do that for the M11X?

I believe you can use HWinfo64 to control fan speed but don't quote me on it.

If Mumak implemented any support for the M11x R3 in HwInfo, regarding fan control, you should be able to see a small brown fan icon on the lower side of the Sensors window.
And to answer your question, no, there is no native application to controll the fans on Dell machines. That's one thing I love about Asus, even in desktop world, their little applications that make a difference.

well it isn't native asus, it is 3rd party, but it works just as well. i prefer it over the tardy asus overlock app. ill hit the software above though.

HWiNFO64 would have to be my best guess, However, I don't have a M11X so don't take my word for it.
