The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Fading Icons

    Not exactly sure if this is normal or not as I went from XP to Windows 7 when I got my R2 but if I have no applications open then the recycling bin(only desktop icon) will go blurry(slightly) and the icons in the task bar get slightly pixelated. When I open up any application(windows explorer,google chrome, itunes, etc) they return to normal over a span of 7 seconds. Any reasons why I am experiencing this?

    EDIT: I was in the process of screen shotting the differences to post up pictures when I could no longer get the faded version to appear....
