I just got my R2 yesterday and am trying to play eve online, but in-game, the video card shows as the integrated Intel, but out of game, windows says Im using the nvidia (I whitelisted it) according to nvidia notification window. My FPS is around 40-55ish with medium settings. I'm assuming eve is supposed to show the nvidia one if its working correctly? I also installed latest drivers.

It will show as Intel, but it will actually run on Nvidia if you look at the GPU Activity icon(it never lies). Getting upper 50s-60 frames per second maxed out everything except AA.

I played EVE Trial like a week ago.

For my R2 I could not get the video card to report correctly in Eve unless I used 260.99 drivers or earlier. Also with the newer drivers there was a bad jittery effect which I could not fix unless I set interval to immediate, which I think can overheat the gpu.

So after some investigation and comparing with my friends M11x r1, we discovered that he gets on average 65 to 70fps on low settings while my r2 gets around 30-45 fps average on same settings. Im really confused now. IDK if its an optimus issue or what...any thoughts ? (still using eve online as our testbed atm)

I figured out the issue, I had the setting set to "fixed window", changed it to full screen, and it seems to be working like a champ!
