    Hello all!
The title says it all, how does Empire:Total War run on the M11X R1? (R2/R3 results are better then nothing)

I do large battles in Medieval 2 Total War using more then 4200 men and units on High, no shadows and no AA.

Could someone please post what FPS they get while running the game maxed out?

    Thanks :D!

hey im not sure about empire but the new total war game, Shogun 2 plays well on low settings. I literally just got done repelling a siege with 2000 men against almost 7000 and the frame rate was solid on low. I tried cranking all the settings up (AA, Shadows, etc.) and was getting like 6 fps with a gpu OC and BIOS OC. So Empire should run at least the same if not better since its older. one more thing, run it in DX 10 mode, you get higher frame rates than DX 9

Edit: you can download the demo of Empire off steam and try it

I'm downloading the demo right now!

And Shogun 2 has some optimization problems.

    Thanks for the help!

    Anyone else?

The game's not playable at all. I get a FPS that's always under 27.

    Very disappointed.

the r1 needs more cpu power, it really isnt going to keep up with todays games anymore. i found that out the hard way sadly. sold mine and built a beast desktop with what i got from my m11x
