This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Dual Monitor Freeze

    I seem to be getting a problem some other users with other computers seem to be getting: When I connect my m11x to an external monitor via DisplayPort->VGA adaptor, it starts freezing randomly resorting to force shutdowns. This happens especially when the monitor goes to sleep, and I wake it up with mouse movement. My m11x monitor turns on, but it is completely frozen.
