Hey so I was wondering for MMOs and such I was trying to tinker for about 30min on the idea that you can set all your bags and maps on the small m11x screen while having the main bars on the larger 23inch to free up space. The only problem I had was the m11x (in extend mode) does not transmit a game across both screens unless I put it into window mode but that defeats the purpose. I am completely lost when it comes to monitors. Is it at all possible to transmit a game display across both screens when both of them are at the same resolution? (I would have the 23inch in 1080p but I figured that there is an incompatibility issue there)

The game I was testing it was in WoW and now Ill be trying guild wars. Any thoughts?

P.S. I'd be using a view port addon so that my m11x screen is completely blacked out and my character wouldnt be running down the middle of the two. Oh and sorry if this is at all incoherent :)

You would need some plugin designed to run the screens in this manner. Why not just use the larger display?

I regularly get 40< fps driving a 40" LED tv at 1920x1080 in fps games.

I know. I am using the larger display. But I was just wondering so I can move all the minimaps, bags, chat boxes into the smaller display (sort of like place holder). I found out its called dual-heading. Oh well, guess its not possible with this computer.

it's getting to a point where game writers need to start thinking about having a second screen setup for games. was pondering exactly the same thing. Problem is the game will be rendering all the stuff behind the bags etc, a waste of horsepower. but it's not impossible, something like a matrox triplehead 2 go would work, but HUGE rooms for improvement
