    Drivers for ssd

    I just benchmarked my new vertex 2 with AS SSD. I got something like 197/200ish for seq read and write. I have ahci model enabled, but im not sure if i need to update chipset. The one ones ive installed is for the card reader. Do i need to install the other intel chipset driver on the driver webpage for the m11x, or any of the sata drivers?

    nvm the numbers mentioned above, reran and heres results:

    Check OCZ for the latest firmware for that drive.

    EDIT: I looked at the specs for that drive and yeah it should be performing much better than that. It should be at least in the 250 range for sequential reads and writes. I believe that drive uses a Sandforce controller just like my G.Skill. If the firmware update and tweaks from those guides don't help, you should probably RMA it.
