The order really does not matter. However i belive you are suposed to install the intel video drivers before the nvidia ones. Follow these steps for installing video driver:

Download and install the latest intel HD graphics driver(from intels website for the latest)

Find out what the latest mobile nvidia driver that support optimus is. I am using 266.58 myself but i installed it awhile ago so it may not be the latest.

Download and install the nvidia driver from laptopvideo2go.com. I have found the drivers directly from nvidia often claim they are not compatible and do not install. If they still say they are not compatible you may need to download a modified .inf file from them and replace the file in the driver.

You can also just download those 2 things from dell and not have to worry about the extra steps but you will get a much older driver.

I see, well, the reason for creating this thread is because some people say install that first and install that first blah blah and I'm confused. I do know I should install the Intel video dirver before the nVidia driver but I don't know what to do with the rest. Regarding the nVidia driver, I got recommended to use the 260.99 driver because users have less lag and crashes.

Regarding the Intel drivers? Do you think the Intel Driver Update Utility will tell me what drivers I should download? Or will the Dell drivers do everything, do I need to download from Intel also?

    Thanks
