Guys i have been having this problem since 2 months ago,
i have been searching for solutions throughout the web but nothing really works actually.

    Problem:
    - Screen freeze / Game not responding every few minutes after game start
    - Can't end task with task manager
    - Can't do anything except press the Alienware Button until it shuts down

    What i have done:
    - Tried all drivers (Modded/Not Modded)
    - Tried all settings in game (lowest -> highest), (full screen -> window mode)
    - Tried using GT 335M and Integrated Graphic

I am VERY SURE it is caused by the GPU because when i run it in Integrated Graphic, it doesn't hang/freeze, although the graphics really sucky.

When i run with GPU, the graphic is superb, but then after a few minutes, the screen Hanged/Freezed.

Please help ! I have checked through China forums and International forums, there is not only me who is having this problem running the game, Dell seems to be ignoring this issue in each and every forum.

Anyone know the solutions to this ?

    PLEASE . . . Help :notworthy:

    Hello,

I'm sorry, I've exhausted all the limited threads with similar issues. :(

There seems to be no solution. I guess start forcing options via the nVidia control panel is the last option I can think of...

    another issue is:

    Dragon's Nest (mmorpg)
    Dragon's Nest (mmorpg) - Opensource

Different games from different devs. It wouldn't be so bad, but one is OpenGL while another is DirectX9c. Annoying when searching for issues on one game, only to find two API from 2 seperate games with different devs... but the same game name.

EDIT: the fault is shared between nVidia and the Developer of the game. Dell is just a system integrator with little to do with how the software is implemented.

I really doubt this is a pc problem; as other people with different systems have experienced the same problem. So dont blame the system. Have you tried the latest nvidia drivers? They support the m11x r2 now.

Seems the r2 series isn't running mmo's very well. Again this isn't hardware problem it is a software problem. If you can do me a favor, when your game freezes open task manager and goto processes and take a screenshot of that. Also please check for any dump files regarding the crash.

i cant agree on that statement anymore that R2 cant run mmo very well. That should be a remark of the past. Unless the game you play require stuffs like nProtect or PunkBuster which f2p mmo require then you will have problem with it. But this is a completely different issue we are talking about here. With TS makes most mmo I tried running extremely well. Imagine Global Agenda now runs native 1366x768 with every setting up to max along with 4x AA except vsync off (known UE3 issue) and shadow filtering on low. The game run silky smooth even in pvp. I am enjoying it more than in the past where I had to struggle with the fps a bit even by lowing the gfx settings a lot.

ffxiv online which is one of the mmo that require stupid high requirement runs avg of 30fps++ everywhere except in crowded towns/camps (this is more of CPU bottomneck) I have not tried wow yet but it's already running fine before TS came along. It "should" be running better now but I dont think I gonna test wow again since I had enuf with it. No intention to reinstall back to my machine after I restore it.

All in all the only major problem left to be resolve is the PB issue which Nvidia promise to be taken care with in the next 265 series drivers. I dont see mmo being an issue here with m11xr2.

I am not playing this game. had a friend playing atm but no intention to so since I have other games to mess around with atm. unfortunately my friend is not using m11x so i cannot ask for you on the problem you having. but as a general help i think you should provide some basic information like which intel driver you using. which nvidia driver you using. do you OC your your CPU/GPU? I think those information can be helpful in trying to help you with your problem without trying to guess too much.

I tried the official 260.89 drivers before, but the problem still persists.
The intel driver and the GPU driver are related ?
    I thought they work separately . .

nVidia GPU uses Intel GPU to drive outputs, while nVidia GPU renders and copies the frame buffer to the Intel GPU (Optimus whitepaper).

it might be a good idea for you to check out the 189.79 modded driver i posted some time back. Optimus work completely differently in those drivers as compared to 25x.xx-26x.xx release. Look out for the Modded Nvidia Drivers for R2 thread. I wish it could be sticky all the time but it cant

Kopicha can you upload it to Mediafire ? The link in megauploads doesnt work for me.
I think this driver is the very last resort of mine to play this game.
    ( Sigh )
