Hi guys,
Just a quick question - does anyone have the game Trine running on the M11xR2/Windows 7 laptop?
By looking at the specs, the game should run just fine, but I would like to confirm this with real user stories.
(I can provide a Steam code if somebody is willing to do a test run within a few hours but doesn't have the game yet.)
Thanks.
Best,
Joel, Frozenbyte team, developers of Trine

I would be able to do a test-drive, PM me the code if you wish.

I don't seem to be able to send any PMs here for some reason (maybe I'm too new or something), so umm... Well, let's go out in the open, here's a code to unlock Trine on Steam: 3C32E-CRE4F-A2TJJ-IKL9V-T2YIM
I hope you snatch it before anyone else (and shame on anybody who tries to do so!). Let me know. -
It runs fine on my R1 so I assume it will run fine on the R2. Just make sure that it is whitelisted.
-
Picked it up during the steam sale and it works great on my i5.
-
Looks like someone snatched it up before I got a chance to activate it. Thanks anyway though, I'll try the demo.

Guess that was a given... you can email me at joel@ or use one of the other addresses at our website/contact so I can get you the code.
Anyhow, thanks everyone, it does look like there shouldn't be any issues with the game and the M11xR2. I assume you all run Windows 7.
This whole thing was spurred by a user who's having some trouble launching the game, and now we're coming to the conclusion that it must be the Optimus stuff or a hardware fault that's causing the trouble (doesn't seem too far fetched judging by the posts here), and not the game/system combination as such. This should be proof enough I suppose, so thanks a lot. -
I know I've had trouble with optimus on steam when launching games from their desktop shortcuts.
Tell the user having trouble to make sure steam is whitelisted and they start the game from within steam instead of a shortcut.
Does the game Trine run on M11xR2?
