It should be able to get by, but 4 GB is pretty much considered standard for gaming. Really, you should get 2 GB more.

I'm considering doing that, does the m11x have two slots? If so, what ram is compatible, and how do I switch it in?

I saw it.. I'm new to adding/changing ram, though, and am curious what to do w/o breaking my netbook. It looked just like a big chip he removed... where would I ADD another 2gb ddr3 ram card to it?

Edit: I understand. That chip he removed is where you plug ram into. I also found 40$ish ram, now I just have to see if its compatible with my m11x

Hi i just recently had to take out my ram and put them back in ( dont ask why) it was my first time doing it for a laptop and its very easy. make sure you have a small philips head screw driver unscrew all the screws. now the screws wont come off they have some kind of washer on them so they dont come out all you have to do is loosen them and pull the back off. now to the right where your touch pad is where the ram is. There is two lil white teeth looking things that hold the ram in place. push them aside and lift the ram up then pull it out. its very easy
