I've had this happen with multiple different display drivers, for the intel and nvidia, I think the problem is with the intel graphics driver but I'm not certain. It basically looks like if you were to have automatic brightness or something like from an ambient light sensor but for saturation, the display transitions from completely normal to way over-saturated over a period of 1-2 seconds, not like an immediate switch. Sometimes it will only last a few seconds and reverse back, other times it will last for well over 10 minutes and presumably will not automatically fix itself as I am forced to restart to get it to go back to normal, haven't found another way around it. Has anyone had this problem, and/or know how to fix it? I'm sure it's not a hardware issue that needs to be sent in for repairs etc., rather I'm about 85% sure it's some type of bug in my intel drivers (tried reinstalling/also have updated a few times since my first encounter) or something in my ICC profile (which is the default one, although I have tried custom profiles in the past, so could be an issue).
Edit: I'm currently on 260.89 nvidia drivers, and 8.15.10.2202 intel drivers.

Thanks! I can't believe it was that simple, at to think this is supposed to be a "feature."
Display becomes temporarily over-saturated?
