    Hello,
I currently have an M11x R1 and the stock drivers for the Gt335m.

I've heard about the hybrid modded drivers and they are fine and dandy but I was curious if it is possible to switch to discrete mode in BIOS and just install a more recent GT335m driver such as 260.xx?

The reasoning behind this is I hardly (if ever) use the save power mode and before I go and experiment (which has resulted in many reformattings in the past) I would like to hear whether it works or not. Does it work to just install the newest Driver from Nvidia? If so which one is considered to be the best for the M11x R1? (newer is not always better)

Thanks in advance and sorry if this is confusing or if it has been asked in the past. :)

Yes. It will work. as long as you've flipped it to "discreet only" in the BIOS you can install the latest Nvidia drivers.

I do not know which ones are best, tho. I've got mine running the Dell drivers which are old & Dell needs to update. (I use my integrated GPU)
