    I used my EPP number + got 150$ off. In the end, I got my R2 (4GB, 500GB + BT) with a Alienware Portfolio sleeve for 1286$ shipped. Later on I changed the HD for a Momentus XT and there's 8GB on the way too...

    Employee Purchase Program. It's a number given out to big companies/governments agencies that has dealings with Dell. For example, my EPP allows me to save 7% off Dell products, and 5% off Alienware. So I had my 150$ rebate + 5% off for my R2.

    I don't know honestly. I was making a cart entry everyday for about a week to see any "deals of the day" rebates or something like that, then one day (July 9th to be specific), my cart had a 150$ rebate on it, so I ordered.
