So I JUST received my M11X last Friday, and I have to say it is amazing. I was able to run MW2 on MAX settings with no problem. Then one day after I received it, I was playing some Age of Empires 3, which is awesome. Then suddenly, everything FROZE. Thinking it was nothing, I forced my computer off and restarted it. Then suddenly, it could not boot up and told me that it could not find a bootable device  . That being, my hard drive. Now, I highly doubt that it is because of over heating, because the hard drive is on the other side of the computer. Apparently, Alienware has sent me a defective hard drive with my M11X. Luckily after 45 minutes of talking with a tech rep, they finally shipped me a free replacement hard drive and a technician to help. Now I know that a lot of people probably received their M11X's recently, and I was wondering if anyone else has been having the same problems.

Sounds like a bad drive. Might have just been an isolated case. Always going to have some units fail in any sort of production, just sucks when you get one of those devices.

I have had a similar problem, I was just doing some work then everything froze and my computer shut off, every time I tried to boot it blue screened. I just re-installed a fresh copy of windows and it seems to be working fine (2 weeks) so far, no problems, as of yet.......
