Well, it just came out, and I didn't see any threads about it on the forum, so here's the questions that always comes up when a new game is released.
Anyone tried it? Running at playable framerates? I'm personally more interested in hearing from R1 users since we seem to be the ones with the most reason to worry, but don't let that keep you R2 users from replying as well.

Currently downloading. I'll let you know after I get it installed and such.

Currently downloading as well.

Runs like on m11x r1 when there is a lot of zombies. about 15-20 fps
-
on the m11x r2 its runs gr8! dipping below 25 a few times but the game runs and the best thing is that the only 2 options are zombie quality and shadows both on medium you get a good experience but you can up the ante on the zombie Q and still get good FPS
OT: it much better then teh 1st on IMO -

I am going to guess... if this is a console port, not specifically re-written for pc then you will need a true quad. I would try to play it with the hyperthreading disabled to see if it makes a difference. Also try disabling Turbo to see what that does as well. Usual stuff for optimization.. Try lowering shadows, post processing on low, no aa or af, etc.. etc.. etc.. Best Wishes, StevenX

i played with 8x AA and Mutli sample with VSYNC and the game ran decent enough for me shadows and zombie quality on medium

On the R1, it plays okay, but the framerate drops with more zombies on the screen. I am trying to tweak my settings to boost performance. I may need to over clock the CPU in the bios and see if that helps. Btw, I tried a wireless and wired 360 controller, and the game currently does not support either of them. I hope Steam puts out a patch because it should be more playable with a controller.

Aren't zombies on the screen most of the time since it's a zombie game?

at later parts of the game the zombies start to you off lol -
The game runs very well with shadows off and zombie detail on high. Also, the game supports 360 controllers, you just have to enable it in the options menu.

I'll check again.. I thought I checked that option and it was greyed out.
