Hi, I've recently been having a persistent issue with Dawn of War 2 on my m11x. I recently upgraded the nVidia graphics card to the new 27 etc. WHQL drivers, had no trouble with the beta drivers, and purchased a new external monitor (native resolution being 1900x1080).

In Dawn of War 2 I've recently been getting complete lockups of my computer, I'm running essentially everything below what it needs to run on the smaller m11x screen (to be safe). However randomly my computer will fully lockup in the middle of a match, no lag or anything on my part, and will require a reboot of the computer as I can't alt-tab or even use ctrl+alt+del to get to the system screen.

I'm running throttlestop with a safe overclock of well below the maximum (can't remember off the top of my head) which hasn't given me any trouble now for months since I got a stable OC.

Now when I run DOW's benchmark utility, wish everything on low/off, I have a max frame of around 66-70, an average frame rate of about 33-34, but I have a minimum frame of around 8 (on the smaller screen with much higher settings I was averaging 15-16 as my lowest FPS).

I tried dropping the settings to the m11x's native resolution, still with everything at low, and the results were much the same. as with it at the external monitors native, far lower then when on the m11x's screen.

So my question is does the monitor make that much of a difference? And if so is there a way I can fix this. Thanks in advance to whomever can help.

I play mines on 1280x720 without external monitor(no AA, rest maxed out). Very smooth. I also noticed a little mouse lag whenever I play on my 42' TV. I'm using the 266 drivers.

might not want to run it at 1080p res. although it should perform quite a bit better with a moderate gpu overclock.

The only issue I have is when playing multiplayer - Last stand. Framerates dropped quite significantly due to more and more waves of enemies. Though that was resolved by turning down my graphics to low-medium. But otherwise the game runs fine on high with stock speeds. (Though that was when it was just released when they had a range of bugs, haven't played it for a few months now)

Just to confirm, you are using the R2 version right? Not the R1?
