Now, this game requires an epic CPU. Does any one have any optimizations? And howdo you run the game in DirectX9 mode? I remember the demo, the game ran flawlessly. The DirectX10 is buggy. So any tweaks?

i cant even run it on my r2, just crashes to a bug reporter on load, A Thq support mulled it over for me and basically came back with some nonsense saying it was due to optimus, i dunno,

kinda wanna know if anyone elses is working too and how well

Explains it all, you got optimus. I can run it fine, in DX10 with 12-26 FPS, on High, with no shadows and low reflections. But on DX9, I could run it on full blasted up, with 31-58 FPS. But that was the demo. So...SUPER BUMP :p

This game ran smoothly for my non-overclocked i5. This was a while ago though, I'll reinstall it tomorrow morning and post results. But I do remember it running perfectly fine, and that's for sure.

Are you running the Steam version?

Turn the first option to high for DX9 and ultra for DX10.

I couldnt even get the game to run on my R2. I was recommended by another forum member to manual download all the patches and update the game. It seems to work flawlessly now. This is from the retail copy of the game when it first came out.

I am currently running the non Steam CoH and it's amazing :D. It looks awesome and I can pretty much max everything without AA because it kills the FPS on the R1. The only thing this game can't handle seems to be the AA. My R1 non overclocked CPU can handle it fine... I don't see what the problem is :p.

The problem is in skirmish mode with 5-7 computers. Turns into a leggy mess by mid-late game.

Yeap, the Steam version. No wonder, I set the effects to Ultra. Now to see results.

That means Steam is the issue :chatterbox:. Your ones not OC'ed. Do you mean max as high or ultra? Could you put a video up or some proof?
