Ebay has some. Like a week ago the R1 was selling for 599 brand new. What revision do you want? What will you use it for? This Thread can help you decide what you want to buy. Heres a used R1 for 600 on ebay Another used R1 for 525 Just look around for a deal you like and you can always look on Dell Outlet for a Refurbished one which most of the time are just brand new ones people ordered but just never got shipped.

Well it depends (did you read the buying guide i linked to? no). What tv will you be using(so that i know at what res you will most likely be playing)? The R1 with SU7300 vs R2 with i3 (the one for 749) doesnt really give that much of a performance increase. What kind of battery life do you want? The R1 has vastly superior battery life against all revisions of the M11x (though since you said your going to be playing from a HDTV i dont think battery life would matter). What games do you plan to play and at what settings? Heres a YouTube playlist i made for myself (because im a nerd) showing mostly the R1 with SU7300. All the videos by supergreatfriend are of the R1 outputting to a HDTV (They say HDMI Test in the title ;)) at max or close to max settings. But if a game can play well at fullscreen (1366x768) on just the M11x it will play like that on the HDTV (depending on what res if its higher than that the performance will drop lower it will increase).

Im going to go with yes (if you want to run them at 1920x1080) but that might not be the case on some games. You can always turn the res down and it will still be fullscreen and beautiful on your 1080p (which i hate you for by the way :p) Generally if you play at a high res it will effect performance. If its an old game then no it wont effect it and you can play at that till your hearts content. Again i need to know what games your thinking of playing.

R3 if you have the money.

    R2 for CPU demanding games.

    R1 for battery life.

R1 & R2 have the same GFX card FYI. R2 just has a better CPU thats a bit more power hungery
