Now one of the wires inside my m11x charger has split open, it looks really dangerous. Its the grey wire, which I think is the main wire which carries the current. I do think i can get that replaced.

Now, I recently got crysis in the steam sale, but its stuck permanantly in windowed mode, whenever i change a setting on it, it crashes. Does anyone know what is causing this?

btw, i called dell, got through to a call centre, he couldn't understand me and i couldn't understand him. :S

are you just talking about the wire that is on the output side of the chargr/adaptor . if thats the case its not that dangerous as its only 19.5v output. the dangerous end is the iec end or if you have anything exposed inside the ac which carries the 240 or 110v.

i run a pat testing firm , so its my job to advise on this. all the same you can still try for a replacement as its damaged

I think its the cable which supplies the power because if it is to charge, I have to hold the metal wiring together. ANyway, I have a right to get a replacement, this was a result of normal use. For £900 this laptop should be flawless, instead, its littered with problems.

yep get it replaced its not really on is it.

and if you were to buy a cheap replacement they can be seriously dangerous, better to go official on laptop chargers
