    Hey all,
My Alienware R1's charger fell in a bowl of water for the dogs.....turned the water blue and everything. Hope it doesn't kill the dogs. Anyway, do you all know where I can get a decent priced charger. From Dell they are $60, I would like to spend less if I could.

    Thanks in advance

First thing is first, change the water so your dogs dont drink it....
Now, get on ebay and put the model/serial number in the search and you may find a compatible 3rd party company that sells a replacement for less than the $60. Good luck

I have bought 3 chargers from ebay. One broke, other two just fine. I use them for both R1 and R2.

Thanks guys, I will try ebay! I was trying to get it faster since I'm going out of town Friday. Oh well....the IPad will have to do all the work this short trip.

And yes, I changed the water! The water was blue, how crazy. It was just the top part that you plug into the computer that fell in the water I would have never thought that would have changed the water, but it did, and the chihuahua sure did enjoy it I think. I think he will be fine though, he was hoping all over the place this morning, we shall see how he is when I get home from work.

I suggest you get the travel charger from ebay (the dell one)
its like 35 bucks on ebay and is much smaller than the stock one, plus its got a 12v plug for car charging and various lengths of wire.

Try Amazon, they have a bunch of dell chargers for really cheap. Like $15-$25
