Well the first issue you're going to have is that everyone who has tried to run an emulator on the M11x both R1 and R2 have stated that the CPU isn't strong enough to run them, so I doubt even if you find out what the issue is that it's going to run well enough to play if at all. I don't know a whole lot about emulators but you shouldn't have to run daemon tools to mount it if the file is laid out correctly, it should just be the emulator itself opening the file unless Chancast requires an image mounting tool for some reason. Wish I could be more help but the little bit of image work and emulator work on consoles I've done nothing required a mounting software.

Not true - I run alcohol 120, and use this to mount C&C 3, fallout 3, Halo 2 etc I use YASU to clock the drive, copied from original disks which I own and installed with original keys. Games play fine copy protection is securome 7

Philby your not running an emulator. As for the whole emulator things. I bet with tweaks and good quality roms you can run games fine on the m11x. I have gba advance and runs superbly... have yet to try gamecube or wii however i am sure i can get those to work. I will do some testing of my own. Now I think your post should belong in a chankast forum. Daemon tools works fine with the m11x. Maybe try to recreate the iso.

I would recommend using nullDC over chankast for dreamcast emulation, I have been using it on my R1 and the m11x is more than capable. You can get it here: Downloads - nulldc - Project Hosting on Google Code

Also I recommend checking out the emu forums for any questions you might have: nullDC Discussion - Emuforums.com

As for the mounting issue, this should all be handled within the emulator. For example in nullDC you click the boot option and it will ask you to browse for your .iso file.

    Hope this helps :)

Also feel free to ask if you need any more help!

Just Like built2roll said, use null dc. What you can do is do what I did, I took my Shenmue disks and just created isos using them. If you can't copy your Dreamcast games, just browse the net for backups!

I own Shenmue + 2 and they both work great emulated on null dc on my R1 :)
