I was curious to know if it was possible to game from a high speed Microsd or regular sd card? Why? Just because you can... I dont have a Microsd adapter and/ or a fast card to test the theory.

It would be possible, but I will say that the SD card reader in my computer (that is not an M11x) is really slow.

Thanks, I was thinking of this for my M11x. The more storage I can get on it, the better.

If you just want a lot of space, you could try these:

I'm thinking if you have enough RAM, and the game is coded to function from RAM as much as possible, you could game from SD.

If its a game that loads a lot like Fallout3 will probabily notice suuuuuper long load times and studdering. not to mention you will chew thru the SD cards readwrite lifespan in a very short period of time.
For games like pegal or plants vs zombies it might work fine. but any game with a ton of textures (nice graphics) it will probabily just be annoying to play... -

you can load games to it but the load times will increase due to the speed of the SD card but once it is in RAM you shouldn't see a difference in performance. -
Like many before have stated it depends on which games you intend on playing. That would help solve the question a lot more.
Can you game from a Microsd/sd card?
