    Well its pretty much all in the title?? I would like to upgrade my *old* M11x to the new i processors! Is it possible???

    Any help appriciated :D

    Not really possible.

    The CPU is soldered onto the motherboard I believe. So you can't upgrade it unless you have a BGA reworking station.

    Also your chipset and socket doesn't support core i CPUs.

    You would have to change the motherboard if the chassis is the same.

    Sadly, I believe no. Even if you got the whole motherboard, they changed the port layout so you'd need a new shell to accommodate the relocated DisplayPort and etc.
