Hi so I got my M11XR2 a week or two ago, and started playing games on it recently.

I always play with my earphones plugged in, but one day I took 'em for a moment and wow the fans are quite loud. And the area around the fan is very hot.

I was just wondering if it is normal for the fans to be a bit loud (I'm not really complaining, I cannot hear them with my earphones in), and is there a way to monitor the temperature of the CPU or anything?

That's normal. Depending on what games you play the fans will either kick in somewhat loud or overdrive.
