    Bulge on left side by trackpad...

    just got my m11x from newegg...

    immediately noticed a "bulge" on left side by the trackpad (see pics) left mouse button is lower than the trackpad.

    what should i do? is this normal... :confused:

    Not normal, NEVER order anything from Newegg, they have crappy shipping, OR its your courier/mailer's problem. Dell should cover it with warrenty, give them a call, BUT I suggest you email them (for very good reasons, trust me).

    Never order anything from Newegg? I order everything from Newegg. I know of no other company that will RMA items with the same efficiency and with no questions asked. They have taken care of me for nearly a decade, with hundreds of RMA's within my thousands of orders. Every company will ship a percentage of items that necessitate an RMA - Newegg's is a definitively lower percentage.

    and unless the box had evidence of being opened before it got to you it has nothing to do with Newegg.

    i order 80% of my stuff from newegg, never a problem.

    notebook already on its way back, newegg paid for return shipping, so hopefully replacement will be here soon, i hope that its defect free...

    uhhh, but newegg rocks in customer service...
