Hello people new guy here, been lurking the board for quite a while deciding whether I should buy an M11x and well... here I am.

The laptop came in today, just finished transferring some music from my desktop and the sound from the left speaker(and only the left speaker) sounds like it's so blown out, what should I do? is it covered by warranty and should I return it? if so, how? I'm a bit of an audiophile and this is a huge deal for me...

    Thanks in advance. :)

Just call technical support and tell them that your speaker is blown out, they'll probably send a technician to try and fix it, or better yet, a brand new replacement.

Just call Dell/AW and they will replace it.

No i had a dell service rep come out and apparently my speakers were missing a rubber bumper thing. It was causing a distortion sound but he replaced the whole speaker unit anyways. He had to take the whole thing apart to get to the speakers.
