Curious guys, what sort of frames per second you getting on Borderlands 2? I've got an M11x R2 and I'm getting around 30 fps for the most part, though during intense combat drops to around 20.

    Got the game set to:
    1280x720
    Textures High
    Everything else low/off

I have an i7 M11x R3 and BL2 ran really well in four player co-op. I capped the FPS to 30 in the options and had a mix medium to high settings for everything else, PhysX on low and ran at native res.

I can post my exact settings when I get home from work tonight if needed.

Cool reluctant. Not much help to me, but may be helpful to others running an R3
Also, it just occured to me:
The settings, they do nothing. I just set all the settings to high or on, asides from ambient and depth, and I lost maybe a 1 fps. The only thing that gives a fps boost is lower resolutions, and even then it's just a few frames.

The difference is only going to be in the fillrates as the cards are not that much different although the 540m GT offers more shaders. CPU wise there should not be a big draw back as both are ULV so maybe try overclocking your GPU.

I find shadows, AA, SSAO or HBAO and POST destroy my frames so it may just be one option you need to turn down.

Now the question is, where is the graphics config file? The options menu does not let you change shadows, and has no options for SSAO or HBAO or POST, least to my knowledge.

Im using an M11x R2 i5 and im playing it on med-low settings at native res and its running at 30-40fps. I can put the exact details later for you to try. Im also OC my CPU and using throttlestop which may help you if your not already doing it.

Are you guys using FRAPS to view the frame rates?

I started playing (native resolution) with everything on high yesterday and was not able to notice any visible lag. This was on an i7 R3

Anyone down to play some co-op? All my friends are playing this on console...

I'm up for coop. Add me on steam, M11xStryker.
And yes I am using fraps. Normally there isn't any major lagg, though with major fights, it has a habit of dropping to 20 FPS. Once again, i7 R2 here.

Also try the Nvidia drivers, 306.23, they should work for R2s.

Well I'm now getting 40-50 FPS, and around 35 FPS during intense combat. By turning of DynamicShadows and Bloom in a .ini file, I managed to get a major performance boost. While the game does look a bitless amazing, it still looks good. The .ini in quesiton is located in Documents -> My games -> Borderlands 2 -> Willowgame -> config -> willowengine.ini

Has anyone worked on how to mod the backpack to as many places as you want yet?

Playing at 1080p on my R3 and getting 30-35fps as long as I keep the AA, AO and Physx off. Rest med-high. Great game.

I doubt it would perform smoothly at all on the R1, unless perhaps it's pinmodded.
