    Hello,

I have been looking over the specification of my laptop on dell's website. It states that I have the Bluetooth module installed. How do I get this working? Is there a hotkey or something to switch it on as there is nothing in device manager and can't find any Bluetooth explorer?

it shares the same hotkey as the wifi and wlan adaptors, :p

Check device manager, it should show up under Network Adaptors or Bluetooth Devices.

    EDIT: like so:

Or any USB devices showing up under "unknown?"

The thing installed for me automatically...

    Also should show up in
    Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections

I don't have Bluetooth in device manager, also don't have an unknown device in there.

This is the original configuration of the computer by entering the service tag on the dell website.

Check to make sure Bluetooth is enabled in BIOS. Reboot and hit the F2 key to enter BIOS setup.

hmmm... other option is to open up your laptop and check the bluetooth adaptor (loose?)...

also, cycle through fn+f3, to enable/disable your wireless options (that hotkey enables/disables all wireless connectivity).
