    Hi Guys!

    Pc Mongo again!

So I got a BD Drive for my R2, but can't get it to work?
It reads DVDs and CDs, but not bly ray? Got the new powerdvd 10 v11 that supports blu ray viewing, but now I am stuck?

    Any suggestions please?

Do the BluRays not show up in windows explorer, or do they merely not play?

Do not show up mate, if you click on D drive it says please insert disk and opens the drive. The disk does not even spin when inserted?

    Do I need additional drivers/firmware?

I have an HD-DVD and bluray combo drive. I've had the odd HD-DVD not work. Have you tried a variety of blurays.

There is something up because even if you didn't have playback software windows should see the disk.

Thanks for the reply. yeah mate, that is what I thought, that windows should at least see it. Only have one blu ray here at the moment, but will try one more and if it does not work I am sending this baby back.

I didn't and mine was an internal. I doubt you do for a USB drive one as its all done automatically for you. Perhaps have a look on the manufactures website just too see.
