    I thought I'd post this because its a great game for the M11x as its really a mobile game through the internet which is what the M11x is all about... Anyways I have been waiting for this for awhile now. I've played similar games like Quake Live but this is just another level...

    is this 'battlefield 2' play for free version?

    well..I play BF2 mod, project reality extensively. runs very smooth on m11x

    To sum up battlefield play4free. Its BFheroes retextured and in first person. They didn't even try to hide it, it's very obvious even some sound effects are shared and the exe file if I remember right is called "BFheroes.exe".

    When I tried it on my M11x I got 2 problems 1) It wouldn't even run and 2) When it did I got punkbusted due to either a win7 update that often triggers punkbuster or they just hate alienwares.

    Its been awhile though so I will try it out again and see what it is like ( maybe it will actually run this time ).

    Or just sign up for EA and NVIDIA newsletters. Heck they both gave me 2 different darkspore beta keys that I didn't even ask for and EA just kind of randomly sent me the battlefield one.

    After testing out Battlefield Play4Free, and my opinion has yet to be changed. The main problem is punkbuster who has a vendetta with everything inside the M11x, this time it is the optimus because it has both the intel and nvidia drivers up at the same it you get kicked out my a punkbuster error.

    I'm not even sure why anyone even uses punkbuster it blocks more innocent things than it does actual hacks.

    i tried this game on my desktop and thought it stunk... i play Heroes alot cuz its kinda fun, and i play BC2 also, and those are both way better than Battlefield Playforfree...

    As well stop complaining about how this game is a Heroes/BF2 port... It's free for crying out loud...

    I'd rather just play BF2.


    Not a big fan of the BF:Bad Company games (consolized) so BF2 still reigns supreme. We'll see how BF3 turns out. I'm hoping they don't consolize it like the Bad Company games. They're such a joke. Even this free2play crap would be better than BC2.
