How to play BFBC2 at 800 x 600. Here is a simple way to play at 800x600 and you can definitely play on the m11x R1 at this level. It is challenging to get it to work but I have proven it tonight many times.

    1. Edit C:\Users\admin\Documents\BFBC2\system.ini
    2. Change the resolution to 800 x 600
    3. Save
    4. Right click on the desktop and open nvidia control panel
    5. choose adjust desktop size and position.
    6. Set to USE NVIDIA SCALING
    7. WARNING HERE.. THIS GETS MESSY AT THIS POINT.. you might want to have your shortcut ready for BFBC2 as it will get hard to navigate at this point.
    8. Choose rotate display, choose portrait or portrait flipped. save
    9. open BFBC2, it will open and you can select settings. It will say 800x600.
Choose low settings and AA x 2 and AF x 2.
    10. Now ALT-TAB back out to the nvidia control panel. Change it from portrait or flipped back to landscape. Save.
11 return to BFBC2. Play on at new low level...

if you run fraps you will notice the game stays in the 20s quite a bit. Try it out and see if regardless of frame rate it actually plays smoother. Let me know. Best Wishes, StevenX

@gecko, what driver version are you on? I am using 258.96 and it works fine on R1. If you are on the R2 make sure you have the executable on the whitelist and you may just want to enable the nvidia to global.

    Thanks, StevenX
