    Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has tried this yet?

No matter what graphics settings i try (even lowest possible) i am only getting 20 - 22 fps. Was considering buying the game but it wont be any good if thats the best I can get.

By the way my machine is and R3 with 6 gig RAM.

p.s. All other games (steam) work just great on high settings and good FPS.

    Thanks in advance.

The GT540M that comes with the R3 isn't a very high end chip, and wasn't any more high end when it came out. It packs a decent punch and runs most games within the last couple years on high or medium, but it's starting to wind down.

The other issue is that BF4 is still in beta and is most likely lacking proper GPU optimization.

You probably checked this already, but just to make sure, the GPU is running while playing BF4 right?

I did whitelist the game, etc but have not checked if the nvidia icon goes green. I just assumed it would be right. Will check tonight. If it's not is there a difference when setting up ea games on origin?

If it doesn't work I will try force GPU under global settings.

    Will report back.

That framerate seems fine to me. Everything set to the lowest possible?

IS THAT THE END FOR MY BELOVED R3. Only had it 18 months. I guess maybe it's a supplement to a desktop rig for most but it was my main gaming rig even sold my xbox.

    Maybe time to invest.
